To my dear brothers and sisters, this message was on my web page and have had no donations yet. Not sure why other than things are hard with the economy. Insha'allah things will change and people will be able to help. I never ask for help unless truly need it and never will. I always use my own funds before relying on others. We have our regular costs, and sadly this month we have a completely unexpected extra cost, that being a computer. The one we were using finally broke. We hung on as long as we could with it, and it fought a valiant fight, but alas… it was just too much. We were able to secure a loan (no riba) which helps, but now we have monthly payments in the amount of $77.00. We always use our personal funds before asking for donations, and we have done that this time as well. Unfortunately, those are now depleted.
If at all possible, we would like to send some of the prisoners a bit of money, insha’allah. Many of the prisoners have no family to help with these things. The prisoners must purchase their own personal items such as shampoo and deodorant, even shaving supplies. They are provided with the very basic items, such as a bar of harsh soap that is to be used on skin and hair, which is a problem in particular with our sisters. It is not easy to comb through long hair after using something like that. I suppose this sounds like a small thing, but to the prisoners, it isn’t. Insha’allah we hope to help with this.
So please insha’allah – consider donating a little of your sadaqah to us, insha’allah. Also please keep us in your duaa – for the last 8 or 9 months we have had quite a struggle to keep our heads above water financially, but thanks to the generosity of our brothers and sisters in Islam – we made it! Masha’allah! Please help us to keep making it.

Again I am sorry to have to ask, but things are urgent now. In fact, the bill for the internet connection came out just today. It is very expensive due to the fact that the connection is in the middle of nowhere ............... It is satellite only.
