Sanda Ould Boamama, media officer of Ansar Al-Din movement, denied in an interview with Sahara Media that his movement decided to abandon the implantation of the Sharia in some regions of Azawad, and described what has been circulating in the media as “false and baseless statements”. And he also denied that Hamada Ag Bibi, member of Ansar Al-Din delegation to Burkina Faso, has made such statements to any media outlet in Ouagadougou.
It is worthy to mention that some media outlets attributed to Hamada Ag Bibi that the movement is ready “to give up the implementation of the Sharia in Azawad except in its stronghold in Kidal”.
