Who are behind the Jihadists of Jabhat Al-Nusrah in Syria?

Bismillah

Jabhat Al-Nusrah has been active since the beginning of 2012, and has more recently conducted some of the most critical and important operations against the Nusairi pigs.

They are mainly Syrians, who have Jihaadi experience from Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and to a lesser extent, Yemen, and Somalia and elsewhere. This contrasts sharply with the military experience of the FSA, mainly comprising defecting military units from Bashar's army, who are not nearly as well-trained as the mujahideen of Jabhat Al-Nusrah.

To make it clear, the true mujahideen in Syria are Jabhat Al-Nusrah and a few other groups, but Jabhat Al-Nusrah have shown that they are leading the path. The FSA are nationalistic and have proven to be insincere as Brother tarbiya has clearly pointed out. As you know, the FSA has no structured leadership hierarchy, just the highest-ranking officers who claim to lead them simply through rank, and the bulk of the FSA are just defected units. Some of them maintain a more nationalistic approach, while those who are closer to Allah have left the FSA and joined Jabhat Al-Nusrah.

I've seen on TV how the FSA want to claim everything for themselves, even the brilliant operations by Jabhat Al-Nusrah over the last two weeks or so, particularly the Raid of the General Staff Command in Damascus, the Raid of the Dens in Aleppo, and blowing up the Air Force Intelligence Branch in Harasta in the Damascus Countryside. The FSA remind me of the Islamic Army of Iraq and their envy of the Islamic State of Iraq as it was growing and spreading, and the eventual alliance of the IAI to the Americans to backstab the mujahideen. The FSA would not mind allying themselves to the Americans, and view themselves similarly to the nationalists of Libya as they were fighting against Gaddafi. The FSA know the Americans have not aided them militarily like with Libya, but as Jabhat Al-Nusrah is gaining strength at a faster rate Maa Shaa' Allah, so too do the Americans know that eventually they would have to directly support the FSA militarily or risk Syria falling completely into the hands of the mujahideen after the fall of Bashar.

And to back up what I've said, Jabhat Al-Nusrah's media arm, Al-Manaarah Al-Baidhaa' (The White Minaret), posts all Jabhat Al-Nusrah releases in the Arabic Jihaadi forums, while the FSA does not post anything.

Here in AMEF, you will find several Jabhat Al-Nusrah video releases in Jihaadi Related Media and most of their statements in Mujahideen Press Releases. If you can speak Arabic, please read and view as much as you can about them, and if you can't speak Arabic, you will find Confirmation of the Promise (1) translated into English.

Finally, just to mention, your avatar shows the Banner of Tawheed, which is the banner carried by Jabhat Al-Nusrah:

whereas the banner of the FSA is:

which is based upon this flag, representing the opposition movement in Syria:

This flag is erroneously believed to be the flag of Syrian independence from France, whereas in truth the flag was implemented by the French themselves, and lasted from 1932 to 1963 (notwithstanding the United Arab Republic merger with Egypt from 1958 to 1961). Syrian "independence" from France was in 1946. What's ironic too, is that the Syrian opposition would like to have good relations with France, their former occupiers, and even congratulated the Taghoet Francois Hollande, when he became president.

Also, just something I remembered, many FSA members regularly smoke and some even drink alcohol, and this has happened during Ramadhaan too. What sort of mujahideen are these?
