Tensions are high in the Wilayahs of Southern Somalia under the control of the Mujahideen.
Cultural elders and the general public in Somalia’s provinces, especially those in the south, have said that Kenya has been an enemy to the Somali people, and it will be brought to account on the massacre it carried out in Birta Dheer.
Elders from the clan of Sade, those of Bay and Bakool, the Shabelles and the Jubbas spoke to Islamic media outlets and said that the Kenyan government declared before that it would target specific clans who are against its selfish interests in the Jubbas.
Shaykh AbduLlahi Ansaari, one of the intellectuals of Sade clan said that they are ready to avenge in the coming days nine nomadic people who were rounded up and then massacred in cold blood by Kenyan forces.
Elders from Bay and Bakool also sent a callout directed at the people of Somalia after a meeting they held.
One the elders of Bay and Bakool asked the Muslim Somali people to stand as one against the invading Kenyan forces who are against Islam and coveting the natural resources which are plentiful in the Jubbas.
