Islamic Soldiers from Harakat Shabaab al-Mujahideen, chanting Takbirs, last
night carried out an attack on bases of Burundian democratic forces and apostate
militias in parts of Lafole in the province of Middle Shabelle.
The Mujahideen were able to take over several defences set up by the Burundians where they were hiding out before withdrawing.
There returned safe and well this morning and some of the Burundian soldiers are conducting search operations to find those behind the attack.
The daily attacks carried out by Islamic soldiers from Harakat Shabaab al-Mujahideen on AMISOM forces and the apostate Somali militias have been on the increase while on the other hand the foreign forces and the militias under Hassan Sheikh Mahmud have been busy conducting search operations and arresting hundreds of people in Mogadishu and its environs.
No one from the two sides at conflict has issued a statement regarding the incident.
