"Bismillah. Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) is the partial or total removal of the female external genitalia. External genitals include the clitoris, labia, mons pubis (the fatty tissue over the pubic bone), and the urethral and vaginal openings. In northern Mali, the Moedjahidien started a campaign which involves meeting with excisers, one-on-one, to discuss the suffering of the girls who undergo the procedure, and to ask the excisers to give up the practice since Allah ta'ala did not legislate that Huqm." Abu Abdulrahman said.
