MEMO: Ansar Al-Sharia seize two districts in the Al-Bayda’ province

A local source in Rada’a district confirmed to “Al-Sharee” yesterday, that Ansar Al-Sharia led by sheikh Qaid Al-Dahab, have completely seized the districts of “Wald Rabi' and Mahan Yazid” of the Al-Bayda’ province.

The source who preferred not to mention his name said that Ansar Al-Sharia seized the two districts after the death of Samir Al-Mawiri, a commander in Ansar Al-Sharia, in Rada’a district, but it is uncertain if he died of natural causes or a traffic accident.

The source stated that several militants of Ansar Al-Sharia distributed banners and posters in the neighborhoods, markets and the regions and villages that aren’t under their control like the Al A'rsh, Ar Ryashyyah and Sabah districts confirming that they have completely controlled “Wald Rabi' and Mahan Yazid” and these districts are under the emirate of sheikh Qaid Al-Dahab, Amir of Ansar Al-Sharia in Rada’a. And they have demanded those who oppose their presence to stop inciting hate against them in the markets and events.

The source also added sheikh Qaid Al-Dahab has the ability to resolve many of the outstanding and difficult tribal issues like cases of revenge.
