BADGHIS, Jul. 23 – 4 foreign invaders were killed and 2 others wounded yesterday when an Afghan soldier opened fire on them in Ghormach district, according to officials reporting from Badghis province.
The attack happened at around 01:00 pm today when the officer (Nasrullah, from Paktia province) opened fire on the combined patrol of ISAF-Afghan troops in the district bazaar as they were taunting locals for fasting. The officer later tried to escape but was however shot and martyred in return fire.
This incident comes as a similar shooting took place in Herat province yesterday afternoon when a police officer opened fire inside the enemy training center, leaving 4 high ranking foreign trainers dead and another wounded.
