MEMO: Timbuktu Airport in the hands of Ansar Al-Din

Bismillah

Timbuktu Airport in the hands of Ansar Al-Din

Sahara Media was the first to enter Timbuktu Airport and there were two vehicles of Ansar Al-Din as sign of the actual control of the movement on that strategic location which was controlled by the MNLA since last April.

There was one fighter from Ansar Al-Din who was busy burning the flag of the proclaimed state of the democratic MNLA, which turned to ashes, and then he installed the black banner with its Shahada text.

The people living in the neighborhood near the airport began to implement the Sharia on themselves to get prepared for the rule of Ansar Al-Din, women are covering their heads, and they are preparing for the prohibitions of smoking.

In the same context, Sanda Ould Boumama the spokesman of Ansar Al-Din in Timbuktu told Sahara Media: “This is one of the days of Allah, Allah Almighty have given pride and raised their status”. And he added: “For us this should be a day of modesty and submission to Allah Almighty”. Clarifying that the misguided group who refused the Sharia of Allah Almighty, the so called MNLA chose pride without Islam so Allah humiliated them.

And he said with trust: “We are now in the Kabra region we have exceeded the airport with 4 Km, and we will continue Insha’Allah to the port region where the ferries are located”.

As for Omar Ould Hamaha the field commander of Ansar Al-Din, he ensured that elements of the movement have reached with the aid of Allah the Timbuktu airport “there is no trace for the elements of MNLA… They have fled from the airport”, according to him. And he added that the Ansar Al-Din are controlling today the city of Timbuktu completely with the grace of Allah.
