Ansar Al-Sharia denied the reports about the Yemeni army storming of the city of Waqar (Jaar previously) and they have confirmed by phone to newsyemen that there is more than 12 kilometers that separate the army from the city and the 7th October factory is still under their control.
They also said that they have attacked the army forces in Al-Harror region near Waqar and they damaged a tank and burned a military vehicle and killed and injured unknown number of them last night. And they acknowledged the death of three in their ranks which raises their losses in Al-Harrorsince the beginning of the battles to four, according to them.
Ansar Al-Sharia say that there are two wars waged against them a military one assigned to the American forces, Lawdar Committees and the army forces, and a media war assigned to the media outlets.
On the other hand, Ansar Al-Sharia acknowledged the death of two of their elements after an American drone attacked their car in Al-Bayda’a after they left it, but the American drones returned and attacked once again the same fighters, which killed two and injured a third. Ansar Al-Sharia link between this quick return of the drones and the news of the presence of American drones in Al-Anad base in Lahej, and they commented on the Yemeni government of these reports “that this denial is like the denial of the information minister about any American support for this war, which is a denial that contradicts to what is perceptible and tangible”.
It is expected that the Yemeni army will begin its attack on the city of Waqar after most of its people have displaced from it.
