According to a local source in Lahj province, the fighters of Ansar Al-Sharia seized the Al-Hamrah region which is near the capital of the province, Al Hawtah.
The source reported to ‘Al-Tagheer’ that clashes erupted between Ansar Al-Sharia and the security forces using heavy, middle and light weapons, which resulted in injuring three soldiers one of them his injury is serious, after that Ansar Al-Sharia was able to control the Al-Hamrah region.
Also the source stated that Ansar Al-Sharia were led by a local commander called ‘Jassar’, who was declared dead by the Yemeni authorities three months ago.
