The Kuffar are saying the gunman is a 24 year old Mujahid brother named Mohamed Merah, who claims to be from Tandhim al-Qaida and has been to Afghanistan and Pakistan several times:
A kaffir source close to the investigation told AFP. "He was in the crosshairs of the DCRI (Central Directorate of Internal Intelligence), like many others, since the first two attacks.
Police are now negotiating with the Muslim, who said he acted in "revenge for Palestinian children" and French military terror operations in the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
Several police officers from the secret unit RAID were injured in exchanges of fire during the raid and the suspect's brother is under arrest.
At least two police officers from secret unit RAID were injured in a shoot-out with Al-Qaïda's lone wolf
The brother's mother, who is Algerian, has been brought to the scene, but Taghoet Gueant said she had refused to become involved as "she had little influence on him".
The Taghoet said Al-Qaïda's lone wolf had made several visits to Afghanistan and Pakistan.
French media enemies have linked the suspect to a group called Forsane Alizza (Knights of Pride) that was banned by Taghoet Gueant last month but this is unclear.
